New collaboration with the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Split
We are proud to announce a new collaboration with the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries in Split, marking an exciting milestone as our first cooperation with this renowned research institution.
The project involves the creation of a planned maintenance database, with a particular focus on identifying critical equipment and inserting all manufacturer-recommended maintenance plans. The scope also included on-premises implementation of MXSuite and an initial training session for the client.
It was initiated and supervised by the Institute’s director, Dr. Zivana Nincevic Gladan, with key roles in the first phase taken by Stipe Muslim and Silvijo Marovic from IZOR; Theo Vlot from Mastex; and Goran Les and Damir Sikic from Socius.
This initiative will significantly enhance the Institute’s capacity to manage and maintain their research vessel and equipment using the cloud-based system.
Collaborating on data projects with our partners Mastex Software is just one in a series, but a collaboration in implementing the MXSuite system is a first.
The second phase of the project will include digitizing key documentation—such as instruction books, technical manuals, and code books—and linking them directly to corresponding assets within the system. It will also include training of onboard crew to ensure smooth adoption and daily use.
We’re happy to be working together and look forward to a successful collaboration!
